SimNASA back open Posted Wednesday, August 31, 2005 After almost a half a month, SimNASA is back on line. Shortly after mid-day on August 18th the SimNASA servers experienced a catastrophic failure. Although backup methods were employed, most of the data on the SimNASA website was corrupted and could not be restored.
During the course of the past several weeks, the staff has been working hard to get the most visible operational areas of the web site back in operation.
There are still other areas of the website that are not operational. During the course of the next few months these areas will be recreated, and placed back on-line.
Special thanks goes to those who help in the recovery efforts, they are: Frank Inklaar, Juergen Kloo, Dave Barlow, and Antonio Maia. In addition there where many others who provided addition content and assistance, too many to be named. Our sincere thanks goes to all of you!
Your patience and support are appreciated. Now, let's get back in the air!
