SimNASA Copyright

Title 17 U.S. Code offers protection to the authors of "original works of authorship", including literary, dramatic, musical, artistic, and certain other intellectual works. This protection is afforded to both published and unpublished works.

Pursuant to Section 106 of the 1976 Copyright Act, the Entity SimNASA has copyrighted their material from 1999 to current year. Current case law, has extended the protection of Section 106 of the 1976 Copyright Act to include that "Web pages and email messages are copyrighted as soon as created". This protection gives the owner of the copyright the immediate and exclusive right to all intellectual property on the website.

All material on this website is copyrighted and may not be used without permission.  This copyright extends to images used by SimNASA as well as other materials and documentation.

Materials, to include images, documents, files, and other information not of SimNASA origin have been identified and permission for use has been granted either in writing or in accordance with published source for use by non-profit, freeware organizations.

 Freeware organizations may use images without permission as long as proper credit is given. Commercial or for profit organizations must receive permission to use images prior to publishing.  The terms of use may be withdrawn at anytime and without warning unless specified in writing as to duration or condition. All organization are requested to receive written permission for use prior to publication.
